ABC Channel 7 TV Chicago ran an uplifting story about our hero Tree, a young man who was hit by a car and had trouble getting a replacement wheelchair because insurance would not cover the full cost. ABC’s Hosea Sanders spoke with Tree and D4D Co-Founder Bob Shea about the challenges that low-income disabled people face and what D4D is doing to fill the gaps in the system.
