Our D4D Durango Mexico Project extends our mission to restore mobility and independence to individuals in desperate need. By partnering with organizations in Durango, we redistribute donated and revitalized medical equipment, ensuring that valuable resources don’t go to waste.
In Durango, financial hardships, limited healthcare, and rural conditions make accessing essential equipment impossible. Through this project, we give equipment a second life, turning excess into opportunity. ATHLETE'S MOBILITY
In March 2023, NMas Durango TV joined us in Cuencame to do a follow-up story on the D4D Durango mission. The D4D team traveled to Cuencame for a 17 hour day working with patients in this northern Durango municipality. One of the patients had rarely been out of bed for a number of years.
Leonardo was an athlete and liked to be an example for young people. However, he began to gain weight and today he struggles to lead a more normal life.
Because of the bariatric wheelchair, patient lift and therapy provided by D4D, he has regained his freedom and able to leave his home again.

An Angel came to the House
In November 2022, D4D brought some of its donated equipment out of its warehouse to share with its sister project in Durango, Mexico. For a family in need, it was as if an angel came to the house of Mrs. Maria Guadalupe and changed her life.
