The landlord is doing some improvements on Devices 4 the Disabled’s new space and we will be moving equipment there soon. We’re excited about the opportunities our new home represents!
In particular, we hope our new space makes it easier for those in need to connect with us. Connections with those in need and networking with the caregiving community is important. Along those lines, we pass along the news that two D4D board members have made new connections with hospices in the Chicago area.
Bob Shea has been appointed to the board of Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care. He’ll be working even more closely with that group. And Greg Holden has taken a part-time job as a chaplain with Apex Hospice and Palliative Care. We hope their new positions will help us serve the disabled and others in need throughout the area.
